About the Directory
Florida Charter Directory is an online directory that allows fishing charter captains, party boat operators, and similar businesses (“Operators”) to list their services, and allows visitors to search for and learn about those services. We do not own, operate, or control any charter boat, vessel, or business listed on the Site, and we are not a party to any booking, contract, or transaction between a visitor and an Operator.
Listings Are Not Verified Endorsements
Listing information, including descriptions, pricing, availability, licensing, and insurance claims, is submitted by Operators themselves. While we may take reasonable steps to review submissions, we do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or current status of any listing, and inclusion in the directory is not an endorsement or verification by us. You are responsible for independently confirming an Operator’s licensing, insurance, safety practices, and suitability before booking a trip.
Bookings & Third-Party Transactions
Any booking, payment, cancellation, or dispute related to a charter trip is strictly between you and the Operator. We are not responsible for the conduct, services, safety, cancellations, refunds, or any loss, injury, or damage arising from your use of an Operator’s services.
User Accounts & Listing Submissions
If you create an account or submit a listing, you agree to provide accurate information and to keep your account credentials secure. We reserve the right to edit, decline, suspend, or remove any account or listing at our discretion, including for inaccurate, misleading, or inappropriate content.
Intellectual Property
The Site’s design, text, graphics, and other content (excluding Operator-submitted listing content) are owned by us or our licensors and may not be copied or reused without permission. Operators retain ownership of the content they submit but grant us a license to display it on the Site.
Disclaimer of Warranties
The Site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Florida Charter Directory shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss, injury, or damage arising from your use of the Site or your interactions with any Operator listed on it.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.
