Majesty Fishing offers full-day deep-sea fishing from Mayport in Jacksonville, Florida, taking anglers offshore into the productive Atlantic waters of Northeast Florida. Departing from Monty’s Marina near the mouth of the St. Johns River, Majesty provides convenient access to reefs, hard-bottom areas and offshore fishing grounds used by anglers throughout the Jacksonville and First Coast region.
Anglers fish aboard the 65-foot Majesty, a custom Chesapeake-style party boat built for offshore fishing. With a wide 20-foot beam, twin 700 HP diesel engines, an air-conditioned cabin, indoor seating and a spacious upper sun deck, the vessel is designed to provide a comfortable full-day fishing experience for families, beginners and experienced anglers.
Majesty Fishing specializes in 8-hour deep-sea fishing trips, typically departing in the morning and returning in the afternoon. The boat generally travels approximately 15 to 30 miles offshore, giving the captain and crew access to productive Northeast Florida bottom-fishing grounds that cannot always be reached on shorter half-day trips.
Depending on the season, fishing conditions and current regulations, anglers may encounter a variety of Atlantic bottom and reef species. Northeast Florida waters are known for vermilion snapper, black sea bass, triggerfish, grouper, grunts and other offshore species. Majesty Fishing also operates specialty fishing trips during select seasons, including red snapper trips when regulations allow.
Fishing trips include the use of rods and reels, bait, tackle and the required Florida fishing license, so visitors can enjoy a full day offshore without bringing their own equipment. Guests are also welcome to bring suitable personal fishing gear. The experienced crew assists anglers with rigging, baiting hooks, landing fish and other aspects of the fishing experience.
Fish cleaning is included after the trip, allowing anglers to take home cleaned fillets from their day on the water.
Majesty Fishing is family oriented and welcomes first-time fishermen as well as experienced anglers. Non-fishing rider tickets may also be available on a limited basis for family members and friends who want to enjoy a day offshore without fishing.
