The Marathon Lady is a 73-foot, U.S. Coast Guard-licensed and inspected party fishing boat with fast, modern twin engines, full safety equipment and up-to-date electronic fish-finding gear. Inside you’ll find comfortable seating and a dinette table, and the boat has clean restrooms and cold drinks available on board. The dock and boat are handicap accessible, making this one of the more accessible fishing trips in the Keys.
Marathon Party Boat Fishing Trips
The Marathon Lady runs half-day reef fishing trips, with fares starting at $70 per person and special rates for children. Seasonal schedules apply:
- Morning half-day trips run year-round
- Afternoon half-day trips are seasonal (the 2026 afternoon season begins November 21)
- Summer night fishing trips are offered during the summer months

What You Can Catch on the Florida Keys Reef
Fishing focuses on the coral reef off Marathon, where anglers catch snapper, grouper, mackerel and a variety of other reef species. Every fare includes three kinds of bait — mullet, squid and ballyhoo — and the crew is known for patiently helping anglers of every skill level bait up and bring fish over the rail. Kids are welcome, and it’s an easy first saltwater trip for the whole family.
