For a laid-back day of St. Pete Beach deep sea fishing, the Miss Pass-A-Grille sails from the historic Merry Pier at the southern tip of St. Pete Beach, where Pass-A-Grille Channel meets the Gulf of Mexico. Short runs to productive Gulf bottom, a family-friendly crew and a schedule that covers everything from a half-day outing to a 10-hour red snapper trip make it a solid pick for visitors and locals in the Tampa Bay area.

Captain and Crew

The boat is run by Capt. John Kavanagh, who has spent more than three decades in the fishing business. He has worked charter boats and offshore lobstering and fished everywhere from Maine to Key West. First mate Evan Adams and mate Jameson Kavanagh round out the crew and help anglers of every skill level bait up, land fish and have a good time.
