The Captain Michael is the party boat at Robbie’s of Islamorada, one of the best-known stops in the Florida Keys, and an easy way to try Islamorada party boat fishing without booking a private charter. The 65-foot, fully rigged deep-sea fishing boat sails three times a day from Robbie’s Marina at 77522 Overseas Highway, with morning, afternoon and night trips for anglers of every experience level.

Trip Times and Prices

Morning trip: 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM (5 hours), $100 per person
Afternoon trip: 2:30 PM to 6:30 PM (4 hours), $75 per person
Night trip: 7:30 PM to 12:30 AM (5 hours), $100 per person

Check in 30 minutes before departure. Trips can be booked online, and Robbie’s sells gift cards that can be used toward a Captain Michael trip.

What You’ll Catch

The Captain Michael targets yellowtail, mangrove and mutton snapper, along with porgy, grouper and mackerel. Anglers rotate around the stern during the trip, so everyone gets time at the best spots on the boat.

Restrooms and a shaded cabin
Cleaning by the mate, who will clean, fillet or steak your catch

If you bring your own rod, braided line isn’t allowed.

Cook Your Catch at the Hungry Tarpon

Back at the dock, the Hungry Tarpon restaurant on Robbie’s property can prepare your fillets for lunch or dinner, so you can eat what you caught a few steps from the boat.
