Country Club Drift Fishing | Jupiter Fishing Charters
Country Club Drift Fishing is a family-owned boat offering Jupiter drift fishing trips twice a day from 1111 Love Street, right next to the Square Grouper Tiki Bar inside the Jupiter Inlet. Captain Jim Barton, who has run boats along the East Coast from Boca Raton to Virginia for more than 60 years, runs the operation with his son, Captain Jimmy. Both are Florida natives, and their crew does the work so you can focus on reeling.
The Boat
The boat is a 44-foot custom walkaround, which the owners say is the only one of its kind in the area. The open design lets anglers move all the way around the deck, giving everyone more room at the rail and easier access to the water than a typical charter boat.

- Afternoon trip: 1 pm to 5:30 pm

How Drift Fishing Works
Rather than anchoring, the boat drifts with the current over reefs, ledges and wrecks, so anglers cover more ground and get steady action with the chance of a surprise catch. It’s an easy, relaxed style of fishing that works for kids, first-timers and experienced anglers alike. The crew baits hooks, untangles lines and cleans your catch at the dock, so you head home with ready-to-cook fillets.
What You’ll Catch
The waters off the Jupiter Inlet sit close to the Gulf Stream, and daily trips turn up snapper, grouper, king mackerel, cobia, mahi-mahi, amberjack, triggerfish, porgies, Spanish mackerel and grunts.
