Destin Princess & Destiny | Destin Party Boat Fishing, 4 to 18 Hours
Destin Party Boat Fishing runs the Destiny and the Destin Princess from 210 Harbor Blvd, and with more than 2,000 five-star reviews it’s one of the busiest names in Destin party boat fishing. The crew brings more than 50 years on the Gulf, and both boats have air conditioning and restrooms, so they work as well for families as for serious anglers.
Trip Lengths
- 4-hour trips: a short trip that’s great for kids and beginners.
- 6-hour trips: the most popular option, starting at $99, with about three hours of fishing up to 15 miles offshore.
- 8-hour full-day trips: more time on the bottom for snapper and triggerfish.
- 10, 12 and 14-hour extended trips: run farther offshore to deeper water for a better shot at big, in-season fish.
- 18-hour rodeo trip: an extended deep sea trip during the Destin Fishing Rodeo in October; anglers fishing the boats during the rodeo are entered automatically.
Departures run daily year-round. Book online to see the current calendar and prices, or call for private charter rates.
What You’ll Catch
Expect vermilion snapper (mingos), triggerfish, porgies and red snapper in season, along with grouper, amberjack and king mackerel on the longer trips.
What’s Included
Every trip includes bait, rod, tackle and your fishing license, plus a climate-controlled cabin and restrooms on board. Fish cleaning is available back at the dock, and you can take your fillets to Brotula’s on site to have them cooked. Trips are open to anglers 5 and older.
Meet the Captain
Capt. Dennis Kendrick came to Destin in 1980, spent 16 years on deck before earning his captain’s license at 34, and ran his own boat, the Scamp, for 14 years before taking the helm of the Destiny. He credits the crew’s hard work for what makes the boat special.
