Sweet Jody Fishing | Destin Fishing Charters & Party Boat Trips
Sweet Jody Fishing offers affordable, family-friendly Destin fishing charters from 210 Harbor Blvd on Destin Harbor, in the town that calls itself the “World’s Luckiest Fishing Village.” Trips aboard the Sweet Jody range from short outings for beginners and kids to full days of bottom fishing in the Gulf, and the crew takes pride in teaching as much as catching.
Meet the Captain
Capt. Aaron Finkley was born and raised in Destin and grew up fishing the local waters. He started on deck about a decade ago, learning from veteran captains, and moved up to the wheelhouse five years ago. Today he runs the Sweet Jody with an emphasis on fun, safety and sharing what he knows with every guest.
Trip Options
- Mini-adventure: a short trip that’s ideal for families and first-timers.
- Half-day, 3/4-day and full-day charters: more time in the Gulf for snapper, grouper and other bottom fish.
- Extended full day: the longest trip on the schedule for anglers who want maximum fishing time.
- Private tours: tailored trips for your own group and special occasions.
Sweet Jody also runs family dolphin cruises. Check the online booking calendar or call for current times and rates.
The Boat
The Sweet Jody has a large open deck for fishing and relaxing, up-to-date fishing gear, and is kept to high safety standards by an experienced crew. Snapper and grouper are regular catches, and the boat’s dockside sign is a favorite spot for catch photos.
