Lady Pamela Sportfishing | Hollywood Drift Fishing on the Lois Ann
Lady Pamela Sportfishing offers Hollywood drift fishing aboard the Lois Ann, a recently upgraded 65-foot party boat that sails from 5400 North Ocean Drive in Hollywood, a short ride from both Fort Lauderdale and Miami. Owner Captain David runs a fleet that also includes private sportfishing boats, and the Lois Ann is the fleet’s walk-on drift boat for anglers of every age and experience level.
Trips and Times
- 4-hour drift fishing: 8:30 am to 12:30 pm and 1:30 pm to 5:30 pm
- 4-hour night snapper trip: 7:30 pm to 11:30 pm on Fridays and Saturdays, anchoring and chumming over the reef
The regular drift fare is about $70 per person, and the website often runs online specials (recently $59.99 for adults and $49.99 for children under 10). A VIP pass adds priority boarding so you can pick your spot at the rail. Trips need at least 10 anglers to sail, and the boat carries up to 60 but rarely runs that full. Check the booking page for current prices.
What’s Included
Rods, tackle, bait (squid, ballyhoo and sardines) and ice are provided, with a captain and mate on every trip. At the end of the day the crew cleans your catch and bags it on ice. The fully air-conditioned cabin has booth seating and a clean restroom, and the deck has a large bow pulpit and 10 stern spots for fishing the chum slick at night. No experience is needed, and kids are welcome.
What You’ll Catch
Day trips run 1 to 2 miles offshore to reefs in 70 to 150 feet of water for snapper, grouper, triggerfish, grunts, porgies, amberjack and king mackerel, with the occasional sailfish. Night trips target yellowtail, mangrove, mutton, lane and vermilion snapper.
Private Charters
Lady Pamela also runs private sportfishing trips (from $900 per boat) and large-group charters for up to 60 people (from $1,800 per boat).
