Two Georges | Tarpon Springs Party Boat Fishing Since 1947
Two Georges, run by Dolphin Deep Sea Fishing, is a classic choice for Tarpon Springs party boat fishing. The family-owned company dates back to 1947, bills itself as the oldest deep sea fishing charter in Tarpon Springs, and named its 85-foot party boat after the founder. The boat sails from 566 Dodecanese Boulevard on the Sponge Docks and draws anglers from Tampa, St. Petersburg, Clearwater and across Hillsborough, Pasco and Pinellas counties.
The Boat
The 85-foot Two Georges has an air-conditioned cabin with tables and seating, separate men’s and women’s restrooms, seating around a roomy deck, and a large icebox for the day’s catch. A galley sells food, snacks, sodas, water and beer, and the hull has living quarters for up to 20 anglers on overnight trips.
All-Day Trip
The regular trip runs from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

Rates include tax, rods, reels and tackle, your fishing license and dead bait.
Offshore and Private Trips
Two Georges also schedules longer offshore runs, including 12-hour grouper trips (6 AM to 6 PM, $150), 32-hour trips ($450 a spot with a $250 deposit, up to 40 anglers) and 34-hour trips for red snapper and gag grouper during their seasons ($600, up to 30 anglers). Dates change with the seasons, so check the Special Trips page or call. For your own group, an 8-hour private charter (8 AM to 4 PM) is $3,500 on weekdays, $4,000 on Sundays and $4,500 on Saturdays, plus crew gratuity.
What You’ll Catch
Trips target grunts, red and gag grouper, sea bass, triggerfish, mangrove snapper and hogfish. Legal-size fish are yours to keep, and the crew will walk you through the local size and bag limits.
What to Bring
- Sunblock, sunglasses, a cap and a small hand towel
- A cooler if you plan to take your catch home (a small cooler of food and drinks is fine too)
- A camera
Leave glass containers, personal chairs, firearms and navigation equipment at home. You’re welcome to bring your own rod and tackle, but you don’t need to.
